More Thesis

Okay. So just days ago, I accidentally deleted ALL the files in my freakin' external hard drive. It drove me nuts and stuff. My thesis file was also deleted and oh thesis defence is in two weeks. What joy! I got my thesis file recovered by some magnificent recovery file. But that's the only thing I got :\ my photos, videos, installers, movies, animations didn't make it because it can only recover 1 gb file. ANYWAY, I'm making sure I post them up here in case something idiotic like that ever happens to me again. Here they are. Some of them at least.

Want to scare the crap out of yourself? Look at this then. Lol. It's been awhile since I last posted and I was in the mood for art awhile ago. So I tried doing a digital painting and make something realistic. But it ended up in this sort of crap. HAHA. Seriously, I want to learn how to digital paint. One of my weaknesses. *sigh*

Comgrap stuff

I can't believe I'm repeating comgrap again :\ Anyway, I like this one better though my classmates are the 3rd batch. Well, it's good to see the faces of the third batch. I only know one person there. Here is what our professor, the lovely Miss Kenny Tai, had us do aside from the midterm project which I didn't get to finish. :\ The theme for the midterm exams that we had a while ago was HALLOWEEN :D Make a poster, gift wrap and an invitation card. The dreadful

So I have been in thesis mode for a couple of weeks. Though I can't say I stayed too much in thesis mode. I don't really like it. I feel like I'm not ready for thesis yet. Or better yet, I don't want to study anymore. I'm quite serious about this but I'm also afraid since I don't want to ruin everything my folks did for me. It's midterms week this week and all I've focused on was thesis and a little bit of the other subject and some online distractions. I'll post my thesis stuff another time, mmkay?

I am not very good at background so I just made it like this. Might make other versions of this picture. I want some kinda antique effect or something. By the way, she is a vampire.

Pink and Yellow

Well, I did the pink one at school and finished it here. Then I decided to make a yellow one. Might make other colours.

'Sup home braaahs? It's been a while hasn't it? wanna know why? well, it's because my bloddy laptop has been broken since last week. I feel like a computer illiterate. On the plus side, I've learnt to be one with nature. I also learnt to resist the temptations of using the computer. (But look at me, I'm here, HAH!)

I'm going to get it fixed. What sucks is that I might have it re-formatted again. Like, this is for the, what? third time already? UGH! I didn't save any of my WIPs into my external hard-drive. OH THE PAINS OF HAVING TO RE-DO ART :(

Since I'm having so much fun using photoshop these days, I decided to make a brush. Just so I can put my siggie on my art.

Failure

This started nice as a line art. But I played with it and stupid little me forgot to save the line art. Anyway, at least I tried. LOLOL. Note to self: You are not good with handling opacity, stick to what you know. rofl.

Ze pen tool (french accent)

THIS, is my first ever attempt to do art using pen tool. I must say, I enjoyed it somehow. Obviously, that character would be me. Lol. Although my picture in this blog (the real one) has dark hair colour in it, in reality, I have brown hair. And yes, I have braces. And also yes, I wear that hairstyle a lot. LOL.

No Title

Why, haven't I been idle for awhile? I haven't made anything for weeks now. My laptop is going crazy so I decided to do art after it gets fixed. Besides, I'm trying to re-learn digital painting and get better at it.

So for now, this would be my layout until I find something better off the internet.

Book

I bought these books when I went to Singapore last month. The book behind the doodle-book was opened the moment I bought it and it's pretty cool. It captured my attention immediately after I saw it. The one on top is pretty cute. I only got to open it today, and so far, I'm liking what I'm seeing. They're all about doodles and stuff. These would be great for our up-coming thesis subject. :D

I want to become better

Seriously. Looking through deviantart artists makes me jealous. How are they so great? I wanna learn more :(

My friends and I are having this one week profile pic thing in facebook. We drew lots and whoever we chose would be the ones we draw and they should post it as a profile pic in facebook for a week. I chose Gabe. He's a friend. :)

Lookie what I've found part 2

I found my Natsca2 plates awhile ago. I absolutely love the first picture here. It's a cougar, But I forgot to add in it's whiskers and only realised that when my professor gave it back. LOL. Anyway, I'm really proud of this one. You won't see me ever drawing this way often. I edited some of them a little 'cause shadows can be seen :)

Lookie what I've found

These were from my life drawing class back then. I'm not really used to drawing humans yet, but I kinda liked doing it. I enjoyed the class. Thanks to my professor Sir Uy, who helped me on some of these and made me enjoy the class. He's really goooood. I used coloured pencils to draw these, since I feel awkward when sketching with regular pencils.

These are the activities we've done the past few weeks for our experimental animation class. It's a fun class. I like it. This is for midterms by the way. And finally, what went on during our class awhile ago...? We just drew the whole period while waiting for others to finish. How I love this class.
